Billie Brown's Obituary
Billie Faye Brown, 77, of Anacoco entered into rest on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at her home. Billie was born on Sunday, March 25, 1945, in Waco, Texas to Wilburn Wyett and Martha Faye Davis Richard.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, in the chapel of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with visitation starting at 9:00 AM until the time of service which begin at 11:00 AM, in the chapel. Interment will follow at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Billie was a loving Wife to Richard Brown for over 61 years rejoining in their heavenly eternal
home to celebrate their 62nd Anniversary on November 30th with our Lord and Savior.
Billie was not only a Loving Mother and Grandmother she was the Matriarch of her family and the glue that held them all together. She was the one you knew you could go to for all of the answers and loved doing anything she could for her family. She will be remembered for her fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met Billie's Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She spent most of her time enjoying playing board games, having Bible study and eating cake at Gilbert and Linda Brown's house.
Left to cherish her memory are son, Richard Brown, Jr. and wife Polly of Anacoco; three daughters, Robin Pecina of Anacoco, Wendy Teska of Tickfaw, LA, and Amanda Bonura and husband Joshua of Amite, LA; sister, Bobbie Dale Thomas of Waco, TX; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Martha Faye Richard; her loving husband of 61 years, Richard Brown, Sr.; a brother; three sisters, Martha Benefield, Joyce Hammond, and Donna Wetch; and son-n-law, Todd Teska.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Joshua “Bubba” Bonura, Jr., Matthew Ketchen, Stephen Brown, Isaiah Flores, Alfredo Ortiz, Jr., and Eliazar Ortiz.
