Beulah Gail Maddox Durbin's Obituary
Funeral services for Beulah Gail Maddox Durbin, 73, of Pitkin, LA, will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA, with Rev. J.D. Ford and Rev. Michael Nolen officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Branch Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 7 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday, August 7th, from 10 AM until time of service at the church.
Beulah the daughter of Ira Cornelius and Lucy Arlene Deason Maddox was born on October 20, 1942, in Pitkin, LA. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
Mrs. Durbin was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She loved to travel, gardening, and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Durbin; son, Jeffrey Durbin and brothers, Sheryl and Keith Maddox.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Rhonda Gorman (J.D.) of Holy Grove, VA, Greg Durbin (Sandy) of Pitkin, LA and Tim Durbin (Brandy) of Lake Charles, LA; five grandchildren, Bailey & Ty Durbin, Trent & Ella Durbin, and Abigail Gorman; one great grandchild, Quaid Durbin; two brothers, Burl & Bennie Maddox; two sisters, Murl Ward and Carolyn Cook and a group of special devoted friends.
