Betty Lou Waller's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Lou Waller, who departed this world on October 29, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 8, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Betty was a beloved daughter, aunt, and friend, known for her warm heart and gentle spirit.
Betty was the cherished daughter of Clifford and Lula Waller, who have preceded her in death. Their bond was one of love and unwavering support, and Betty was not only Lula’s daughter but also a closest confidant and friend. Now, they are joyfully reunited, watching over their family from above.
She is also preceded in death by her brother, Clifford “C.A.” Waller, Jr.
She is survived by her nephews, Frank Waller and his wife, Jessica, and Kevin Austin, along with her great niece and nephew: Ashlyn Waller, and Trindon Chaisson, and her great-great niece, Taitum Grace.
Betty enjoyed being with her family and her face would light up with pure joy and excitement from her puppy dog barks and kisses. She loved to color in her coloring books, enjoyed watching TV, and eating good food especially ice cream.
She had a childlike spirit with a contagious smile that would light up a room. When she became tired, she was sure to let you know she was ready for her nap! “It’s 10:10, I’m tired.
A funeral service will be held in her honor on November 2, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. at Hopewell Baptist Church, where family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Betty Lou Waller. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the Hopewell Baptist Church from 2:00 P.M. until time of service.
Betty Lou will be dearly missed but we find comfort knowing she is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus and she is sharing hugs with momma & daddy again.
