Betty was born on March 8, 1941, in Leesville, Louisiana to her parents, Ben & Docia Trull Graham. She passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, in the Woodlands Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Betty Mitchell, affectionally known by her friends and family as Bitsy or Maw by her children and grandchildren was a dedicated wife and homemaker but first and foremost, was a mother. She cherished her entire family but especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her pets particularly her cats, loved the simple life she lead, she never was prideful or strived to impress anyone and did not care for those who did. Maw spent her entire life on a parcel of land just off the bank of Mill Creek and never once expressed a desire to live anywhere else. That was her home and where she lived her life and raised her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and was an example for all to strive for.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Max Mitchell, Brothers: David Graham, Buck Teal, George Graham Sr, and Pete Graham.
