Betty Pearl "Granny" Grevemberg's Obituary
Graveside services for Betty Pearl Grevemberg “Granny” will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the Plunkaway Cemetery in Burr Ferry with Rev’s George Jeane, Melvin Smith, James Herrington, and Joe Clay officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Betty, the daughter of Hardy Lee and Nannie Bush, was born on December 15, 1939 in Leesville. She was a very independent and strong lady who loved her family with everything she had. Everyone called her Granny, and she was most happy in her yard tending to her garden, and flowers. She passed away on August 16, 2017 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Her Husband: Gus Grevemberg, Jr. and her Daughter: Karen Grevemberg.
She is survived by: Three Sons: Karl (Gennie) Grevemberg of Burr Ferry, LA; Kevin (Alice) Grevemberg of Houston, TX; and Ken (Annette) Grevemberg of Burr Ferry, LA; Seven Grandchildren: Ashley & Ricky Wunschel, Kyrie & Ashley Grevemberg, Kassidy Grevemberg, Karah Grevemberg, Katelynn Grevemberg, Kaci & Jeremy Bolechala, and Kenny & Laurin Grevemberg; Eight Great Grandchildren: Austin Wunschel, Dawson Wunschel, Noah Wunschel, Amberly Grevemberg, Stormi Grevemberg, Tucker Grevemberg, Grayson Grevemberg, Ava Grevemberg.
