Betty H. Burnett's Obituary
Betty H. Burnett, 87, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Beauregard Health System surrounded by her loving family. Betty, the daughter, of Earl and Omie (Burnett) Harper was born on July 27, 1931 in Port Arthur, Texas.
Visitation will begin Friday, January 4, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, at Shiloh Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2019, at 2:00 PM, in Shiloh Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Charlie Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
Betty loved to paint, go fishing and loved spending time with her loving grandchildren. She was a life time member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Lloyd Burnett; son, Billy Couch; daughter, Golda Ardoin; and sister, Barbara Blank.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, George Couch and wife Debbie of Idaho, Leamon Burnett and wife Mandy of DeRidder, LA, David Burnett and wife, Amy of Chapel Hill, TN; daughters, Wanda Couch and husband Bernie Lamire of New Iberia, LA, Jeri Viator of DeRidder, LA, Teri King and husband Thomas of Reeves, LA, Tamara Hicks of Welch, LA; 28 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren.
