Graveside services for Bessie Knight, 98, of New Llano, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Hawthorne Cemetery with Rev. Robert “Bob” Eckerle officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Bessie, the daughter of J. F. & Mary McMillon was born April 6, 1915, in Angier, N.C. She passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Westwood Manor Nursing Home in DeRidder.
She is survived by her daughter, Janette Martin of New Llano; son-in-law, Thomas Ray and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
