Bertha Rae Midkiff's Obituary
Funeral services for Bertha Rae Midkiff, 85, of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the Lillie Pentecostal Church of Leesville with Rev. George Swain officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the church.
Bertha was born on March 29, 1934, in Leesville, LA., to her parents, Ike & Ada Cryer Fee. She passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 in Alexandria.
She was very adventurous and loved traveling the world. She loved to garden and cook, she was also a dedicated member of her church.
Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Hoy Midkiff.
Left to cherish her memory is her children; DeWayne Whatley (Brenda) of Leesville, LA., Brenda Burton (Gary) of DeRidder, LA., Martha Hickman (Earl) of DeRidder, LA., sister; Yvonne Bennett of Leesville, LA., brother Avon Fee of DeRidder, LA., 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
