Belitha Foitek Browder's Obituary
Memorial Service Mass for Belitha Foitek Browder, 58 of Bossier City, LA will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of DeRidder with Father Jude Brunnert officiating. Burial of her cremains will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West, Texas at a later date. Belitha passed from this life on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Bossier City, LA.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015, 5 PM until 7 PM, with a Rosary recited at 6 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Browder, married 26 years, of Bossier City, LA; 1 son, Christian Logan Browder of Bossier City, LA; brother, Evon Joe Foitek of DeRidder, LA; 2 sisters, Joanna Morris and husband William of Corpus Christi, TX and Valerie Foitek of Richardson, TX; her father, Frank Foitek of DeRidder, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Foitek.
Belitha was born on Saturday, January 26, 1957, to Frank and Mary Ann Ruzicka Foitek at Waco, TX. She attended DeRidder High School and graduated in 1975. She then attended Northwestern State University and later became a CNA. She worked for Willis Knighten Hospital in Bossier City for 32 years as a Medical Services Technician. Belitha was an excellent cook; she loved planting flowers at home and really enjoyed watching John Wayne movies just like her dad watched. She was also a member of the Catholic Church in Shreveport, LA where she attended. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
