Barbara Anne Lundy's Obituary
Barbara Anne Lundy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was taken home to her Father in heaven on December 5th, 2024. She dedicated her life to uplifting and serving others. She served honorably for 4 years in the Army where she met her husband. They have been married for 42 years. Together, they had four children. After serving her country, Barbara became a nurse and spent 27 years helping people in many ways. For the last several years, she has served as a dialysis nurse, providing lifesaving care to many.
Barbara became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at a very young age. She devoted her life to following the teachings of Jesus Christ and serving others. She enjoyed teaching children and did so for many years.
The greatest lessons she learned in life were to always say “I’m sorry” first, always forgive yourself, don't hold grudges, keep Jesus Christ close to your heart and listen to His promptings. One of her greatest talents was to always see the good in others.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Jacque Hawkins; her husband, Derek Lundy; her children, Monika Sorensen, Esther Lundy, Derek Lundy Jr., and Felicia Laughlin (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Autumn, Christian, Skyler, Gavin, Jayden, Xavier, Aurora, Alexander, Asher, Aspyn, and Alyce; and her great-grandchildren, Ariella and Raelyn.
