Barbara Ann Bolton's Obituary
Barbara Ann Bolton, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana, with her family by her side.
Barbara was born to Alford and Josephine White on April 8, 1956, in Richton, Mississippi. A hard-working spirit, she approached each day with a sense of humor and kindness that left a profound impact on everyone she encountered.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jayson, and wife, Malinda, of Minneola, Florida, and her daughter, Jessica Bolton, of Columbia, Louisiana. She also has four grandchildren: Cameron and wife Dayla, David, Kylie, and Maison. One brother, Ronnie and wife Deanna White of Ozark, Missouri, two sisters, Glenda and husband Jimmy Pilcher of Deville, Louisiana, and Angie and husband Louis Champagne of Columbia, Louisiana, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alford and Josephine White, brother, Ronald White, and nephew, Justin Pilcher.
Barbara's Graveside Service will be Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Flatwoods Cemetery in Flatwoods, Louisiana, under the direction of Rev. Wesley S. Manning and Labby Funeral Home of Leesville.
Barbara found joy in the simple pleasures, like the companionship of her beloved dog, whose loyalty mirrored her own. She had a deep appreciation for crime shows.
Barbara had a unique outlook on life, demonstrated by her favorite saying: "Is That Necessary?" This phrase reflected her thoughtful nature and her discerning approach to life's complexities, reminding those around her to focus on what truly mattered. She was understanding and compassionate. Her laughter and warmth will be missed more than words can express.
