Funeral services for Barbara Atchison, 68, of Pickering, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd, at the Cooper Baptist Church in Pickering with Rev. Edgar Evans and Rev. E. J. Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow Read Obituary

Atchison family, I remember Barbara as a woman strong in her faith, a faithful and obedient servant. Keeping you all in my prayers.

Sister Barbara was a woman of God, Woman of Faith, a Christian, a Believer, Serving God and serving others. We are so blessed to have known her. We loved her singing. We could always depend on her. She was a Prayer Warrior. She loved the Lord. We are going to miss her so much. Sister Barabara, Bro Dan, and children, Sister Ruby(mother),will always be in our hearts and lives. Nerver to be forgotten. We love all so much. It is not a goodby but we will see you later. God bless the Atchison family. The Atchison family has been a blessing to us. Dan, Danny, and Bonita, I wanted to extend my condolences for your loss. Ms. Barbara was a very special lady who touched the lives of so many. Her special compassion for others and gift of mercy made such an impact on so many. I wish I could be there with you to share this in person but am unable.
