Audrey V. Good's Obituary
Audrey V. Good, 80, of DeRidder, Louisiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 29, 2011, in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder. She was born February 9, 1931, to the late George Raymond Vaughan and Claudie Velma Henley Vaughan in Van Buren, Arkansas. A homemaker, she was a beloved mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her family, friends and community. Audrey worked hard to provide a good strong foundation for her family and was loved by many. She will be dearly missed by all. The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Farquhar for the devotion and care he gave her and a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Beauregard Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by three sons, James C. Good and wife Barbara of Vancouver, WA, Charles W. Good and wife Patricia of Corpus Christi, TX, and George W. Good and wife Carolyn of DeRidder, LA; one daughter, “Dino” Willa Dean Durr and husband David of Shreveport, LA; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren; and many cousin and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Baisal Vaughan and one great grandson Levi.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M., Friday, April 1, 2011, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder with Rev. Frank Ott and Rev. John Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Hopewell Community under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
