Aubrey White's Obituary
Funeral services for Aubrey White, 67, of DeRidder, Louisiana, will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, November 18, 2009, in Providence Baptist Church in Providence Community, Louisiana, with Rev. Roger Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M., Tuesday, November 17, 2009, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, and from 10 A.M. until time of the service, Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Providence Baptist Church. Mr. White passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009, in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder.
Born in Orange, Texas, Mr. White lived most of his life in DeRidder. He was a retired roofing contractor and maintenance supervisor at Tri-Parish Hospital in Rosepine, Louisiana. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. While in the Navy he served as a crewmember on the USS Marias.
Survivors are his wife, Winona White of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Sandra McMillian and husband Jerry of Merryville, LA, and Nikki McCoy of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, James White of DeRidder, LA, and Willard White of Houston, Texas; sisters, Audrey Gallier of Vidor, Texas, Wilma Scallon of DeRidder, Louisiana, and Lou Lopez of DeRidder; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raleigh R. White and Oma James White, and sister, Martha Barton.
