Asia Marie Scott's Obituary
In loving memory of Asia Marie Scott, who was born on January 11, 2004, in DeRidder, Louisiana, and departed this world far too soon on January 11, 2026, in Jasper, Texas. Asia’s brief time with us was filled with love, joy, and an undeniable spirit that touched everyone she met.
Asia was the beloved daughter of Randy Ashworth, Jr. and Shawnique Scott, who has preceded her in death. She is survived by her precious daughter, Amira Leor Shawnique Scott, who was the light of her life. Asia was a dedicated and nurturing mother, embodying love and warmth in every moment spent with her daughter. Her family was her world, and she cherished every opportunity to be with them.
She was a beloved sister to Victoria Scott and a source of joy to her brothers: Claude Ashworth, Tyler Ashworth, Reginald Scott, and Tristen Scott. Asia also had a special bond with her aunt, lovingly referred to as “Mommie,” Charvette Scott, who played a significant role in her life. Asia was a cherished granddaughter to Celia Ashworth and had a wide circle of aunts and uncles, including Kimberly Cintron, Velvit Jackson, Reginald Thomas, Douglas Scott, Jr., LaShawnda William, Danieal Brown, Cantrece Ashworth, Kristal Almas, Leolialicia Scott, Moncharee Foshee, Sheena Johnson, Monick Johnson, Matthias Ashworth, Nehemiah Ashworth, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, each of whom will miss her dearly.
Asia was known for her beautiful spirit and kind heart. She was quiet yet vibrant, sweet, and nurturing, leaving a lasting impression on the lives she touched. Her love for family was evident in everything she did, and she had a special way of making those around her feel valued and cared for. Asia was not just a looker; she was a person whose inner beauty radiated through her actions and interactions with others.
Throughout her life, Asia found joy in a variety of interests. She loved her beauty sleep, played sports, and took immense pleasure in being surrounded by her family. The laughter and memories shared with loved ones brought her great happiness, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A funeral service to honor Asia’s life will be held on January 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Rev. Jasper Peters. Her family invites all who knew and loved Asia to join them in celebrating the life of a remarkable young woman whose time on this earth was far too short.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Asia Marie Scott may have left this world, but her love, spirit, and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She may have been a quiet presence, but her impact was profound, and she will be deeply missed. We take solace in knowing that her beautiful soul has found peace.
Rest in peace, sweet Asia. You will always be remembered and cherished.
