Arnold Wayne Campbell's Obituary
Funeral services for Arnold Wayne Campbell, 62, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2014, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will be held at a later date at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Monday, May 26th from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the chapel.
Wayne, the son of Pittman and Ethel Mae Paige Campbell was born July 30, 1951, in Mullins, SC. He passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, in Leesville, LA.
Wayne is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ethel Mae & Pittman Campbell; brother, Tommy Campbell and sister, Dawn.
Wayne is a Veteran of the United States Army; he retired as a Sergeant Major after 24 years of service. He was a native of South Carolina and graduate of Mullins High School. He has been a resident of Vernon Parish for the past twenty five years. He was a Baptist Faith. He enjoyed retirement, being with family, cooking, being outdoors and watching NASCAR.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his son, Michael Campbell (Jennifer) of Anacoco; grandchildren, Tyler Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Kaylee Midkiff and Madison Midkiff; brothers, Samuel Kay Campbell (Teresa) of Virginia and James Frankie Campbell (Phillis) of Iva, SC; sister-in-law, Sherry Campbell of Florida; niece, Raven Campbell of Virginia and nephews, Chris Campbell of TX, Dustin Campbell of Alabama, Stephen Campbell of Virginia and Lane Campbell of Virginia.
