Anna Marie Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Anna Maria Williams, 86, of DeRidder, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2015, at Hopewell Baptist Church, Hopewell Community with Rev. Byron Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA. Mrs. Williams passed from this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Lake Charles, LA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015, 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday, all at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Ann was born on Tuesday, April, 9, 1929, at Heidelberg, Germany. She and her husband moved to LA in 1957. Ann and John James moved to the Hopewell Community five years later where she lived the rest of her life as a homemaker. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church and loved to paint, knit, crochet and sew. She lived for her children and grandchildren and loved to spend time with her family.
Ann is survived by 2 sons, Steve Williams and wife Gina of Lake Charles, LA and Mike Williams and wife Donna of DeRidder, LA; 1 daughter, Sharon Williams Binkley and husband Philip of Spring, TX; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John James Williams.
