Angela was born on January 1, 1970 in the old U.S. Army Hospital at Fort Polk. She was the first baby born in Vernon Parish in 1970. If you met Angela, she loved you. No matter the diversity, she loved you. She loved everybody. There was not a single soul in this world that she didn’t put before herself, and she was there for anyone in need at the drop of a hat. This world was blessed to have an angel as caring, kind, loving, warm, and accepting as her. She truly was too good to be true. Her crown in heaven is surely embellished with the finest jewels to be had and in plenty abundance if it reflects even a fraction of the love she spread here on earth. Not only her love, but her love of God as well. She will be missed by so many people, but her memory, her love and light, will live on forever.
She graduated from Anacoco High School in 1988. She attended college at Northwestern and LSU Alexandria before moving to Shreveport and working as a Mortgage Loan Officer at several companies for nearly 20 years. She was always one of the top performers for her company. She moved back to Anacoco four years ago to be close by and to help her ailing mother.
