Angela Marie Beckstead's Obituary
Funeral services for Angela Maria Beckstead, 36, of Leesville, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, February, 12, 2023 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Angela Marie Beckstead was born May 9, 1986 in Coronado, California. She was adopted by her grandmother, Beverly, and the family moved to Carson City, NV. She had a surgery when she was 8 years old that left her completely deaf in one ear, but because of how tenacious and determined she was, she learned to cope with it and read lips so no one would ever realize.
She met her husband, Jake in high school in 2001 and while they were friends for years, they didn’t date until 2009. They were married on June 17, 2011 in the San Antonio Texas LDS Temple. They had 2 wonderful sons, Ryan and Aaron.
On February 5, 2023 Angela Beckstead was called home. She left behind a legacy of love and laughter. She loved her husband and her sons deeply and we loved her with all our hearts and will forever love her.
Many of her favorite things were anything to do with oceans, dolphins, aquariums, roller coasters, Big Bang Theory and Diet Coke. Angela had the biggest heart and was loved by so many. The world has lost a wonderful light.
Angela is preceded in death by her sister; Alexa Shobert.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Jacob Beckstead, sons; Ryan & Aaron Beckstead, brothers; Jesse & Hunter Shobert, sisters; Dori & Karena Shobert.
