Andrea Lafoe Reibold's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrea Lafoe Reibold, a woman of boundless energy, fierce loyalty, and a heart of gold, who departed this life on February 2, 2026, at her home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Andrea, affectionately known as “Lil Bit,” was born on June 23, 1963, at Fort Polk, Louisiana, to her beloved parents, Louis L. Lafoe and Ruth A. Lafoe (née Lalonde). From an early age, Andrea was spirited and strong-willed—a protector at heart who grew into a woman who stood firmly for what she believed in and spoke up for those who needed a voice. She never backed down, remained loyal to her convictions, and consistently placed others before herself.
Andrea possessed a generous, sensitive heart and held a deep love for animals, especially her cherished “fur-sister,” Penny. She was blessed to meet her lifelong friend, Sharon Prater, at a young age—her true ride-or-die companion through every season of life.
Quietly faithful, Andrea was steadfast in prayer each morning and night. If she told you she would pray for you, she truly meant it. She cared deeply for her country, her community, and the people in her life.
Those who knew Andrea also knew her lighter side. She found joy in riding motorcycles, especially sharing “wind-in-the-hair therapy” with the love of her life, her husband Roy. She also delighted in thrifting and garage sales, always on the hunt for hidden treasures—often with someone else’s needs in mind.
Despite ongoing health challenges, Andrea remained resilient, grateful, and selfless. Following the passing of her father, she lovingly took on the role of close companion and caretaker to her mother, a responsibility she embraced with devotion and grace.
Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Louis “Lou” Lafoe; her brother, Harold (Debra) Lafoe; and her infant great nephews, Taesen and Justin.
She is survived by her devoted husband and soulmate, Roy Reibold; her mother, Ruth Lafoe; her siblings: Sheri (Bobby) Sinclair, Lou Ann (Roger) Sanders, Louis (Terri) Lafoe and Bonnie (Darlene) Guillory. Andrea leaves behind her beloved children, Misty (Melvin) Rachal, Charlie Bass, and Emily (Cody) O’Neal. She was lovingly known as “Honey” to her grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart: Kiley (Blaize) Burgess, Lexin (Dominic) Conner, Heidey, Evan, and Macy. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Corbin, Amelia, Keegan, and Cooper. She was further blessed with stepchildren Kim McGlothin, Elyss Self, Stephanie Banks (Jeff), Paul, and Roy Reibold Jr. (Kourtney), along with 15 step-grandchildren, 9 additional great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana, on Saturday, February 7, at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held from 10:00–11:00 a.m. Andrea will be laid to rest at Stephens Cemetery following the service.
