Andrea Rae Ragle's Obituary
Funeral services for Andrea Rae Ragle, 34, of Longville, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in the Broadlands Bible Church in DeRidder with Bro. Darrell Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder and on Thursday, November 9th from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
Andrea was born on October 7, 1989 in Ticonderoga, NY to her parents, James L. O’Hara and Tina Decker. She passed away at her home in Longville on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
She graduated from Ticonderoga High School in 2008. After graduation, she joined the United States Navy as a utilitiesman from December 2008 to September 2012. She met the love of her life, Matthew, while serving. They married in 2009 and started a family together. After the Navy, they moved back to Matthew’s hometown. She enjoyed photography, writing, and taking trips with her kids. She loved spending time with all her family and loved to cook for them when she could. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert L. O’Hara, Richard Decker, Roseanne Bell.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Matthew Ragle of Longville; son: Liam Ragle of Longville; daughters: Marie Ragle, Lillian Ragle both of Longville; father: James L. O’Hara of Ticonderoga, NY; mother: Tina Decker of North Carolina; grandmother: Norma O’Hara of New York; father and mother-in law: Herbert & Linda Ragle of Longville; brothers: Christopher O’Hara, Thomas O’Hara, Cody O’Hara, Riley O’Hara, James Winnie; sister: Jordynn Winnie; special aunt: Jennifer Rafferty; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
