Alicia Mae Dickens' Obituary
Alicia Mae Dickens was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She passed from this life to her heavenly home on September 16, 2021, after a hard fought battle with Covid-19 and pneumonia.
She was born to Robert and Pat Dickens on March 23, 1971 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She graduated from DeRidder High School in 1989. Alicia went on to earn a degree from Delta School of Business
After living in Cedar City, Utah for many years with her daughter Chesley and son Dustin, she recently moved back to DeRidder where she worked for the USPS as a rural carrier, she made lasting friendships who became her extended family.
Alicia enjoyed creating jellies, extracts, syrups, and candies, and fishing at Toledo Bend. She was a hard worker and caring person who loved her family, especially her grandsons Jack and Jude. Loved by many, she will be extremely missed.
In order to keep everyone safe, the family will hold a private memorial to celebrate her life.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Robert and Pat Dickens of DeRidder; son Dustin Loftin of Cedar City, Utah; daughter Chelsey Fritz and husband Zeke Fritz, grandsons Jack Fritz and Jude Fritz; sister Kim Brannon and husband Tim Brannon of DeRidder, and nephews Kidder Brannon and Justus Brannon.
Preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence Marcantel, Jr. and Bonnie Mae Andrews Marcantel, and grandparents William “Red” Dickens and Gertrude Wagon Dickens, and Orel Mae Harper Dickens.
