Alice Pierzchalski McShane's Obituary
Funeral services for Alice Pierzchalski McShane, 82, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012, at Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Sunday, March 25th, at the funeral home with a Rosary being held at 6:00 p.m.
Alice, the daughter of Alexander and Anastia Bogielczyk Pierzchalski was born June 23, 1929, in Chicago, IL. She passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, in Leesville, LA.
Mrs. McShane was a devoted military spouse, supporting her husband’s career and making a home for her family at home and abroad.
Mrs. McShane was a very active member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. She was a past President of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother & “Bushie” (grandmother).
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Mac” McShane, SGM, (Retired) and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara McShane Stainback & husband, Mike of Leesville & Susan McShane Edwards & husband, Jeff of Leesville, son, Michael K. McShane & wife Valli of Houston, TX and grandchildren, Corinne Barnickel Jorgenson & husband, Adam of Austin, TX, Justin Allan Edwards of Lake Charles, Lauren Marie Edwards of Ruston, & Erin Michael McShane of Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to; Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church Building Fund.
