Alexander "MR.O." Oszustowicz's Obituary
Funeral services for Alexander “Mr. O.” Oszustowicz, 78, of Leesville will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13th in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. The burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery with full Military Honors. Friends may visit from 5 pm until 9 pm Tuesday, May 12th and then 8 am until service time Wednesday, May 13th in the funeral home.
“Mr.O.” passed away, Sunday, May 10th in the Rosepine Rehab and Retirement Center.
He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia. He retired from the US Army after 22 years as a Staff Sergeant (E-6) and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He also retired from Civil Service at Fort Polk after 22 years as the Youth Activity Director then the Assistant Sport Director. He was a member of the American Legion Retired Military Post # 387 in New Llano. Mr O. had a passion for raising Thoroughbred Race Horses. He was of the Catholic faith
He was preceded in death by his parents Alexander & Francis Oszustowicz and sisters Olga Oszustowicz & Helen Winkiewicz.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Elaine Oszustowicz, of Leesville, daughter, Darlene (husband, Tom) Postles of Shreveport, LA, sister Caroline Lakomy of Wheeling, W. Virginia and granddaughter, Leslie Postles of Shreveport.
