Funeral services for Alan Randall McRae, 58, of Simpson, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with the Bro. Durhl R. Davis and Bro. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Self Cemetery in Anacoco, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm, Tuesday, January 11, 2011 and on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 8 am until time of service at the funeral home.
Alan, the son of F. C. and Nora Ethene Woodall McRae was born on January 4, 1953, in Leesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his residence in Simpson, LA.
He is survived by his brothers, Wallace & Jimmy McRae of Simpson, LA, Douglas & Georgia McRae of Leesville, LA, Ronnie & Alyene McRae of Leesville, LA & Larry & Jodie McRae of Wichita, KS; nieces & nephews, Alison Morgan, Amy Dalme, Jeremy McRae, Sarah Ganczak, Monica Yarbrough, Janice Dixon, Shaunda McRae, Kayla Williams & Erin Erb and a host of great nieces & nephews.
