Aaron Bruce Cummings' Obituary
Aaron Bruce Cummings, 65, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Bruce was born on October 29, 1954 in DeRidder, LA to William B. and Vera Loftin Cummings.
Visitation will begin Sunday, June 28, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 29, 2020, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home chapel in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Tim Bergen officiating. Interment will follow at Whitaker Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
Bruce lived many years in the Broadlands Community. He was an entrepreneur owning his own business. He loved motorcycles and was a motorcycle mechanic. There was not anything with two, three or four wheels that he could fix or repair. He loved the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He loved spending time going arrowhead hunting.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sharon Haymon; brother-in-law, J. Junior Haymon and one niece, Leslie Suzanne Haymon.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Steven Cummings and wife Maggie of DeQuincy, La; daughter; Stacie Wallach and husband Rob of Prosper, TX; grandchildren, Callie Wallach, Taryn Wallach, Ella-Kate Cummings, Andrew Cummings, Porter Cummings and Scarlett Cummings; mother of his children, Patricia Cummings; two sisters, Rae Dein Jackson and husband Ronnie of DeRidder, LA and Brenda Cummings of Many, LA.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Todd Haymon, Burt Schmidt, Paul Husband, Stewart Keith, Jesse Haymon and Jay Hennigan.
