Memorial services for Laverne M. Powell, 78, & A. J. Turner, 58, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, LA. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
A. J., the son of Garfield Tuner and Laverne M. Powell was born on November 8, 1952, in Leesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
He is survived by his brother, James Turner of Leesville and his sister, Patricia Moore of Anacoco.
