Funeral services for Dan Nance, 57, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11th, at the Family Worship Center in Leesville with Rev. Robbyn Hunt and Rev. Mike Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Read Obituary
I recall what fun we had back when we both worked together at KLLA/KJAE in the dim dark 70's & 80's. Dan was always a great guy and fun to be around and spend time with.I am saddened by the news of your great loss all too soon.God Bless You Dan, and his family.
Dan was one of the greatest men I have ever had the privilege to know, work with, worship with and pray with! I love Dan and Donna with all of my heart. In addition to being my boss and mentor, Dan was my Brother in Christ! I have always been in awe of how much he loved the Lord and how God used him through his trumpet. Gabriel move over--Dan is taking over your job!! Dan--I love you and will see you in heaven!!!

Rest in Peace Dan. You were my Friend and lodge brother for many years. I always enjoyed your calls about the lady in DeRidder complaining about the military trains parked there with Haz Mat signs denoting JP8 fuel. I would always call her and ask her if she has gasoline in her car and she always said yes and then I would inform her that gasoline was more dangerous than JP8 and she was satisfied until the ext train. We got a lot of laughs about that.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May the peace that can only come from God be present in each of you. Even though I have not had much contact in recent years I have many wonderful memories of the time that we all spent growing up together in Mauriceville Texas. What a wonderful and generous family. May God's comfort and everlasting presence be with you.
What a joy I had, taking care of Dan (Danny, to me)when he was just a very little boy! Would take you home with us from Church at Mauriceville Assembly of God everytime I could get a chance!! Your family was very precious to us! I know there is great rejoicing in Heaven, though your precious wife, son and sister will miss you greatly! Our love and prayers from Joiner, Risner and Gall Families!
